Better than Expected
I absolutely love this kimono. I wasn't sure what to expect regarding quality, and I was a little concerned in not knowing exactly what colors I would get, but it is so pretty and well-made that I plan to order more as gifts for my family members. It's a very nice piece, and I love the history behind its making.

The best gift she said she ever received
I bought this for my sister's birthday. She really loves kimonos, and I hoped that she would love this, particularly since it's not only beautiful, but it's also silk, and it tells a story. I hoped that she would get something beautiful, that she would love. To my great joy, she does, so much! She said that she started crying, and that it was the best gift she ever received. Very nice
I asked my husband to get me this robe for my birthday, as I don't tend to get myself anything I don't truly need. Summers get so hot and humid where we live so a lightweight robe is necessary. And it's silk, who doesn't love the feel of silk? Anyway, I know some reviewers were disappointed in the colors but I have to say mine is very bright and colorful. It's well-made too. I just wanted to address the size, if that was something you were curious about. I'm an American size 16 and have to admit this robe is not large enough to wrap around me sufficiently. Since I'm a halfway decent sewer I attached some fasteners along the front so it's not gaping all over the place. It's a lovely robe and I'd recommend it.

Duh, silk. I know, lightweight...but the cut or fabric or combo is just awkward. I sew, and would have worked on it if I could figure it out, Nope.

The Reinvented Kimonos are made from upcycled sari fabric that comes from all over India. Essentially the fabric is all sorts of fabric. However there is no cotton. The fabric is as unique as the prints!
